Call Usage Details - Changes

If you subscribe to the Unlimited Local and Long Distance plan, you can view your monthly call details when you login to your Charter.com My Account.

If you do not have a login for Charter.com Pay Bill options, it is quick and easy to set one up. Go to My Account to get started now. You will need your account number and security code from your statement to create a My Account.

The Call Details Menu

Once you are signed in to My Account, and are viewing the My Bill tab, selecting Call Details from the top menu will display your Charter Phone call details. The following explanation details the new features...

Call Details Explained

  1. This allows for the selection of the appropriate monthly statement
  2. Selecting the appropriate value displays that number of rows on the screen. You may need to scroll to see all records.
  3. Only displayed if there are multiple numbers on your account. Allows the selection of a unique telephone number on an account with multiple numbers. To see all records for all numbers, select All
  4. Select the appropriate call type that is available to your account. To see all call types, select All
  5. Brings the page back to the default display setting showing all call records for the current statement, sorted by date
  6. Only displays when the number of calls exceeds the ‘view per page’ setting, choosing the page number allows the selection of the desired page Prev (previous) displays the prior group of calls Next displays the next group of calls
  7. The blue triangle adjacent to certain column titles, allows the report to be sorted by the unique column: Date, Called From, Called To, Where, Minutes, or Amount
  8. Lists the 2 digit Code and a brief definition
  9. Associated details, such as charges, taxes and surcharges

Why are my call details not included on my paper statement?

Customers who are interested in their call usage detail may access this information online via My Account at www.charter.com/myaccount. Since these calls are included in the calling plan, and not charged separately, we found that many customers were not interested in having this information included on their bill. By not including the call detail on paper statements we were able to make the bill more streamlined and easier to understand, plus we are able to save paper, which is good for the environment.

If I view my call details online can I still get a paper statement?

Yes. Simply create a My Account or login to My Account at www.charter.com/myaccount and select the My Bill tab. Select Available Statements from the left menu to view Call Detail links.  You may also view your current Bill Delivery Options and change to your preferred method. You will receive email within a few minutes confirming your preferred statement delivery.

Can I get my call detail printed on my monthly statement?

We will no longer provide call details on your mailed, printed statement. However, when you register at www.charter.com/myaccount, you will be able to view and print the call details page from your online statement when you login to My Account and select Available Statements from the left menu. Please note that you will only be able to view call details beginning the same month that you register online at charter.com.

How can I view previous month call details if I have not created a My Account login?

Call details will not be available online for the months prior to registration. If you would like to request a printed copy of your call details from previous months, please Chat Live Now or call us at 1-888-438-2427.
