Outlook Express/3rd Party Mail Setup

1. Launch Outlook Express.
2. Select the Tools menu.
3. Click the Add button and select Mail.
4. Type your full name.
5. Type your Charter High-Speed Internet email.
6. Type your account name and password.
7. Select POP3 from the drop-down box.
8. Click Finish to complete.

4.Type your full name as you want people to see it when they receive email from you.

5.Type your Charter High-Speed Internet email address. Click Next.

6.Select POP3 from the drop-down box for your incoming mail server.

• Type your incoming mail server name: pop.charter.net.
• Type your outgoing mail server name: smtp.charter.net.
• Click Next.

7.Type your account name and password

NOTE: If you choose not to enter your password here -- and leave the Remember password option checked -- Outlook Express still allows you to check your email, but requires you to enter your password each time you check for new mail or send messages. This could be your choice to maintain personal privacy if several people will share one computer. Click Next.

8.Click Finish to complete your internet connection set-up.
